Stores are really difficult for me and require a lot of energy. Particularly if there is something specific I am trying to find amidst the sea of bodies, sounds, and items. Being able to shop from home saves me loads of energy and sensory spoons. 

Amazon as an Executive Functioning Support

I also struggle quite a bit with my working memory. Throughout the week family needs come up (soccer shoes for my son, snacks for school, a present for that birthday party, etc.). If I don’t act on the needs right away I will either forget or that information will live on a post-it note shoved somewhere on my desk. Pulling up my app and being able to accomplish the task immediately means there is one less thing for my mind to hold in mind and brings a lot of relief.
